November

 So I started walking this month :) I am gonna be a tough one to catch soon!!! Can't wait to show everyone in NY my walking skills.

2 more teeth this month. Let's make it a total of 5 now! I am biting and chomping everything. Mommy is starting to give me real food too. I love to eat.

Daddy brought home a kitty for mommy. We named her Sabre. She is fun to play with!

Daddy had a birthday. We took him to Longhorn. It's a new restaurant that just opened up. I got to play with sissy, Mikey, g-mama and g-papa!

Very very behind with posting and I am sorry to anyone who is keeping up.

October 17- I went to the doctor because I felt terrible. I had bronciolitis, a double ear infection, and a cold. All the medicine made me feel much better though :)

October 25- I had my 9 month check up. I am 29" and weigh 19 lbs.

I got one more tooth, front tooth on top. I now have 3!!

My sister and I carved a pumpkin (with mommy's help of course)

Mommy got me a scary monster Halloween costume. Everyone loved it.

go for one thing, come out with another

Aiden has been sick for like 2 weeks with a stuffy/runny nose, flemmy cough, and the raspy breathing.. I finally had enough of it and got him an appointment with the Pediatrician yesterday morning. There isn't anything they can do for the cough and as far as the nose, that seems better. They checked his oxygen level and he is fine-so no hint of asthma. While checking his ears, they found that both of them are red on the inside. So double ear infection. That surprises me because he doesn't seem to care about his ears unless he is tired- he rubs them like he rubs his eyes. He has amoxicillin to take for the next 10 days so at least we stopped it from getting any worse.

..and my little bean is 18 lbs.!

It's been quite some time since I have updated. I do apologize. With me going back to work it's been non-stop work or baby time. Aiden has 2 teeth now.

He did not like the flash at all lol but here they are :)


Aiden is pulling himself up on everything! and I mean everything! From me- to the couch- to the bathroom toilet. Speaking of bathroom- Aiden decided this weekend to play with a bottle of my nail polish. He was hitting it on the floor in the bathroom (I was in there with Alysa, helping her wash her hair) and a few times too many it hit the floor too hard and the bottom of the bottle busted. Pink, glitter nail polish went all over! and he of course crawled right through it :) I missed the Kodak moment.. Daddy took him and cleaned him up, which was not a quick or easy task!

Soon we will be having a walker! I can feel it!! He doesn't lean on me as much as he used to. I'll catch him sometimes letting go and standing on his own for like a milli-second before falling. He is trying :) Props to the little bugger.

Pearly Whites!

Aiden's first tooth popped through!!!! We finally saw it and felt it on the 14th. Sorry this post is a tad late.

Ahh look at that gorgeous white! :) and disregard the scratches the boy likes to give himself.

well that was a long week

We just got back from a weeks long trip to New York for a great and much needed vacation! The 11 hour drive was actually very easy with him. He slept all but 3 1/2 hours. The ride home was a different story though. Aiden was able to meet most of my family finally! We only had one day to get in as many visits as we could and we did just that and a little more. Here he is with great-grandpa Calway :)

Aiden enjoyed his first trip to the zoo as well that day. Sheryl and Camden took us to see all the animals but Aiden's favorite was the polar bear.

If I could post all the pictures from our Black Lake vacation on here I would but there are just too many. We had a blast! Aiden took his first boat ride and spent a lot of time with grandma Calway. He enjoyed a few campfires and even took a few hand crawls while playing with Owen (my cousin Kate's little man). The week flew by way too fast. I am already looking forward to the next New York trip. We are still recouping...

Road Trip!

Aiden had his 6 month check up earlier this week. Here are the stats:

weight: 16 lb. 6.5 oz (29%)
height: 27" (82%)

He had 4 shots and even got pricked on his finger. Can you tell he's tough?

Yesterday we finished our trip to New York. We got in at 4 am. Aiden did great! He slept all but 3 hours. We are happy to be in Buffalo. We even took a trip to the Buffalo Zoo with Aunt Sheryl and Camden. Aiden's favorite animal was the Polar Bear. Got a souvenir hat!

Thanks to those who came over to meet the little man. He was all smiles and worn out even everyone left. He even got to meet his great-Grandpa Calway!! I'll post a picture when I upload my camera.

Time to get ready for Black Lake!! Lots to talk about when we get back from there!!

I'm 6 months old!!!

Mommy finally has time to sit down and update. We hit the big 6 month mark! We took the day and went shopping with a friend. Aiden had a blast! We bought a new bathing suit, 2 pairs of sunglasses, a preppy hat, and a tank for vacation. Check out my new shades!

Yes I know we didn't take the tag off. That's the new hat too! He's gonna be one stylin' little man.

Aiden has pretty much mastered sitting up on his own and sitting himself up from being on his tummy. With a few falls on the head I think he learned to keep his balance. He even started pulling himself up on things. Mostly to his knees, but I've caught him a few times on his feet! Maybe soon he'll retire the army crawl for a real crawl before he learns to walk..

We have lots of packing to do for our upcoming trip to Buffalo and Black Lake! We can't wait for everyone to get their hands on Aiden! Please stop by Grandma Calway's house to see him Friday the 27th! It's our only day in Buffalo before heading off to the lake for a week. We are very much looking forward to being on vacation but as for the drive: that's another story! We'll update that when the time comes.

Made it outside...

We went to visit Daddy today at work and afterwards went to Michael's to get some crafts. It started to pour outside and we got soaked getting back to the car. Aiden thought it was the funniest thing to get all wet from the rain. He giggled the whole way to the car! I thought for sure he wouldn't like the sound of the rain hitting the car on the way home when it really started coming down, but no- he was intrigued! Total awe! Mommy on the other hand was a nervous wreck! She doesn't like driving the rain, let alone with precious cargo! Successful outing even though we didn't make it to Wal-mart.

Just the beginning...

I am starting up this blog to keep myself and my family up to date with all the new milestones Aiden achieves. I hope you all enjoy! I tried making 3 different blogs from different sites and it lead me here an hour and a half later. Aiden went down at 8:30 and I should be taking full advantage and hitting the sheets myself. I am so very sleepy! More to come...
